Job description
Maintain and operate natural gas pipeline, oil pipeline, and compressor station control systems and equipment. • ** Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot gas-fired turbine engines, reciprocating engines and gas compressors, standby generators, pumps, low pressure and steam boilers, oil coolers, air compressors, cooler fans, valves and operators, and other electrical equipment used in natural gas compression. • ** Inspect, calibrate, and maintain electrical and pneumatic instrumentation on natural gas compressor units, valves, pumps, air compressors, etc. • ** Plan, coordinate, and perform routine corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, equipment and system improvements, and major maintenance projects. • ** Maintain and troubleshoot programmable logic controller hardware and associated automation components. • ** Troubleshoot equipment problems utilizing technical reference manuals, drawings, and other documents. • ** Use specialized tools such as Hart Communicator, Fluke, Megger, etc. • ** Manage encroachments on pipeline right-of-way.
